Busiri Offset Flyline Hook – Slick and Strong Design for Yellowtail

The Blacktail Busiri Offset Hook is a forged, offset fly-line hook designed to increase hook-up ratios on the hook-set. Its point sits slightly off-center and turns outward, helping it catch tissue quickly for more positive penetration.

Forged, like the Ishidai

Nearly identical in construction to our Ishidai Live Bait Hook. The forged design is stronger than round wire while keeping a thinner profile — a less intrusive presentation, and less damage to delicate live fin bait.

Short shank, wide gap

Ideal for sardines and similar baitfish, holding the bait securely without spoiling the presentation.

Where it earns its name

Designed for both surface and subsurface species, the Busiri is particularly effective on powerful fish such as Yellowtail. A more efficient hook-set converts more bites into solid hookups — and can shorten a prolonged, brutal fight, especially when fish are finicky or conditions are tough. Busiri means yellowtail in Korean.
